We had Dr. Seuss day on Wednesday! We did lots of fun activities! We unfortunatly didn't get to all of the activities. We ran out of time and the kids forgot their listening ears when they came to school. Here's a recap of what we did do:
We made Cat in the Hat...
they had to trace each piece and cut them out.
Played a partner math game....
We also read the book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and used the colored goldfish for a math tool. We graphed how many of each color we received and then worked on writing tally marks for the number and then decided which color we had most and least of!
I really wanted to make Oobleck with the kiddos but they were just not behaving like they usually do so we weren't able to make it.
