We started out dictionaries after Alphabet Basket this week! Each new letter we learn they will find the page (which they are in alphabetical order), practice writing it, then draw something that starts with the letter of the week and then label it. Here, the kiddos are using the word list we made from Alphabet Basket to label their drawings--the kids are starting to get the hang of using the resources in the room to spell words out!
This is just a fun sheet we do at least once a week. I try to have the kids build the words to help them get the hang of which letters come first, second, etc. They like these pages, but they LOVE the popcorn pages where they are able to use their yellow crayon to "butter" the words of the week!
